2017 Moon Festival Celebration at Irvine Chinese School

The evening included a compact but brilliant program that showcased many performances. There were also booths set up for child-play area, Han clothes tryon area, and food area. We had a huge crowd that night under the beautiful moon. Many families in the Southern California in the Chinese community enjoyed a very pleasant Moon festival with their loved ones.

2017 Sports and Fun Day

Every year we host Sports and Fun Day at Irvine Chinese to promote exercise and good sportsmanship. Teachers, parents and students usually participate and have fun during different activities.

2017 Orange County Lantern Festival

Irvine Chinese School and Pacific Symphony collaborated to have the Lantern Festival at Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall which consists crowd of more than 10,000 people attended the festival in Orange County each year.

2017 Happy Chinese New Year, the Year of Golden Rooster

The most unforgettable event that students at Irvine Chinese School look forward to each year is the Chinese New Year Celebration. Each class presents either some performance or provide a booth with goodies for the fair. There is also dragon and lion dance. Our Chinese New Year celebration invites all parents to come celebrate together.

Meet the Candidates

All the candidates in the Irvine region gathered at South Coast Chinese Cultural Center to have a face to face meetup with the Chinese community. Their mission is to create a better city in Irvine. These candidates published their ideas and answered any questions that people had.

Traditional Chinese Clothing Exhibition

This year, South Coast Chinese Cultural Center would like to promote ‘Traditional Chinese Clothing’ as a theme for Chinese culture. The exhibition will introduce different clothing styles and clothing evolution from Shang Dynasty to Ming Dynasty in the Han nationality. There will be several seminars, traditional Chinese clothing display and catwalk, etc. You wouldn’t want to miss out!
