The O.C. Lantern Festival, presented by Pacific Symphony and South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, is a community event where the act of appreciating lanterns is a way for people to let go of the burdens of their old selves and express their best wishes for themselves and their families for the future.
We invite you to submit artwork that depicts your own wishes for the future.

• What are your dearest wishes for your future? For your family’s future?
• What burdens or aspects of your old self do you hope to let go?
• How can you make your wishes a reality?

Selected art will be on display at the 2023 OC Lantern Festival on February 18 from 11:30am – 3:30pm at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa. Selected submissions will either be displayed as images on-screen in the concert hall,
or as originals on easels in the concert hall lobby. Artists of the top three selected works will receive tickets to attend a Pacific Symphony concert and $200.

This call for art is open to people of all ages and backgrounds who reside in Southern California, including students and non-professional artists.
Submission Guidelines
Artists are welcome to submit original artwork in the following formats:

• Paintings, no larger than 24” x 36”
• Drawings, no larger than 18” x 24”
• Photographs, no larger than 18” x 24”
• Digital art, in JPEG format

Submit a digital copy/photo of your artwork to Eileen Regullano at eregullano@pacificsymphony.org, along with the following information by Monday, January 9 at 5:00pm Pacific Time.

• Your name, address, email address, phone number and age
• Title of the work, medium, year completed, and size of artwork
• Your display preference (on easel or digital on screen) and artwork dimensions (if easel display)
• A brief statement or description of your artwork

2023橙縣元宵燈會徵求藝術作品參展

2023 橙縣元宵燈會由南海岸中華文化中心及太平洋交響樂團合辦，主辦單位已開始徵求藝術作品，獲選的佳作將在音樂廳中展出，今年的主題是” Wishes for the Future”, 請參考附件有關徵選的詳細內容。2023 橙縣元宵燈會訂於2月18日週六在Segerstrom 音樂廳舉辦，藝術創作徵選收件截止日期為1月9日5點前。繳件請送至eregullano@pacificsymphony.org。
