Why recycle glasses?

Eyeglasses are valuable resources that not everyone can easily obtain. According to the World Health Organization's data, over 2 billion people worldwide need eyeglasses but cannot access them. "Love Irvine" invites you to donate new or gently used eyeglasses to help children and adults in Guatemala have clear vision and happiness. Just imagine how your donation can help children read, assist the elderly in living independently, and enable adults to succeed in the workplace. It's a meaningful and wonderful gift that both helps others and the environment!

Your old glasses, their new world! 

1. We accept both brand new and gently used prescription glasses, children's glasses, reading glasses, sunglasses, and eyeglass cases.
2. Glasses with lenses and frames that are still in good condition are welcome.
3. We recommend packaging your glasses securely and placing them in the recycling box by November 12th to prevent any damage during transportation. (The recycling box is located at the front desk on the first floor of the Cultural Center.)
4. Our volunteers will sort, clean, and determine the prescription strength of the eyeglasses, and they will be sent to those in need through medical assistance organizations.

1. 我們接受全新或使用過的處方眼鏡、兒童眼鏡、老花眼鏡、太陽眼鏡和眼鏡盒
2. 鏡片及鏡架都仍可敷使用的眼鏡
3. 建議您將眼鏡包裝妥當，於11/12前置入回收箱 , 避免盒子內的碰撞折損。 (回收箱位於文化中心一樓前台)
4. 志工將會分類、清潔和確定眼鏡處方強度後, 經由醫療扶助機構將其發送至有需要的人手中。
