The O.C. Lantern Festival, brought to you by Pacific Symphony and South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, invites you to participate in a vibrant celebration of art and culture. This year, we're focusing on the majestic theme of the "Dragon" - a symbol of strength, courage, and good fortune. We're excited to see how this powerful theme inspires your creativity!
👨🎨 Calling All Artists: Your Creativity Wanted!
Whether you're an experienced artist or just love to create, we welcome submissions from all ages and backgrounds in Southern California. This is your chance to showcase your interpretation of the Dragon's traits - confidence, intelligence, and luck - and how these qualities can positively impact our communities.
🎨 Artwork Categories & Submission Guidelines:
- Paintings (up to 24” x 36”)
- Photographs (up to 18” x 24”)
- Drawings (up to 18” x 24”)
- Digital art (JPEG format)
Please ensure your submissions adhere to the size guidelines and include a brief statement describing your artwork.
🏆 Exciting Prizes Await!
The top three artworks will be honored with tickets to a Pacific Symphony concert, a cash prize of $200, and the opportunity to have their work displayed at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall on March 2, 2024.
