Existing students and sibling enrollment starts on March 17th. Please note that students who complete the enrollment process AND pay off the tuition by April 29, 2023 can keep the spots for the language and elective courses and receive the early bird $40 discount. 

爾灣中文學校週末班舊生(含兄姊弟妹) 2023-2024 註冊於3/17 開跑。請注意! 由於各時段各班名額有限，唯有在4/29/2023之前繳交全部費用者，才能保有目前的語言課及選修課名額，並可享有早鳥優惠減免$40(每個家庭)。

2023年爾灣中文學校夏令營 3/ 17 開始接受報名，3/31日前完成報名將可享早鳥優惠。名額有限，報名詳細資訊請參閱學校網站。

An information session for incoming high school freshman's parents will take place on March 25th at 12:00 pm (in English) and March 26 at 11:30am (in Mandarin). Parents of current 8th grade students will have a map about how to plan Chinese learning in high school. It will cover the information about the curriculum of high school Chinese, textbooks, placement test, extra credit class and AP Chinese exam. Parents of other grades are also welcome. 

今年秋天即將邁入高中的八年級生，該如何規劃高中的中文學習或AP考試? 本校將舉行高中新生家長說明會，適合八年級家長參加，其他年級有興趣的也歡迎旁聽。英文場說明會是3/25中午12:00， 中文場為3/26 上午11:30，說明會將介紹本校高中中文課及教材、高中分班考、校外學分班以及AP中文的說明,請切勿錯過。

High school students may apply for 2022-2023 ICS Certificate of Course Completion and Outstanding Performance Award now. The due date will be April 23rd. Please see the school website for more application details and required forms.

Chinese Story-time for Kids

In order to better serve our community and SCCCA's families, we will launch Chinese Storytelling activities on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. The details of time slots are below. Please select your available time slot and fill in the form to make a reservation.

We offer three terms of Chinese Story-time for kids. Each term (month) has one topic. The details are below.

March -- Social and emotional communication (三月主題-社交與情感交流)
April -- Culture and literature development (四月主題-文化與文學發展)
May-- Science and technology exploration (五月主題-科學與技術探索)

南海岸中華文化協會(SCCCA)，是由南加華人自發組成的教育文化公益組織，不但在1976年成立了南加最具規模的爾灣中文學校，在2005年更凝聚華人社區力量，南加最大的南海岸中華文化中心，致力於傳承及發揚傳統中華文化，推廣中文學習，進而提倡及實現多元文化的和諧社會。

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
