1. The priority enrollment of the current ICS students with early bird discount will end this week. Just a reminder that parents need to pay the fee by 4/29.   Please re-enroll for 2023-2024 ASAP as the spots are limited. 
2. 2023-2024 School Year Policy Reminder: Student should stay with the assigned throughout the school year. There is no make up class if missed by the students. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Month

Let's show our appreciation to our hard-working teachers and staff. Please remember to treat your teachers with something sweet this week.

Parents or students are encouraged to write a Thank You Note to a specific teacher(s) through email at jnsu@sccca.org. We will post it online.

Week of 4/29-5/3– Bring your teachers treats and sweets 

Week of 5/6 -5/10  Bring a stem or bouquet of flowers to your teacher.

Week of 5/13-5/17 Write a Thank You note for your teacher.

Chinese Cultural Summer Program

文化夏令營報名中

The application window for the 2023 Summer Program is now open. Students who complete the registration by now will receive the early bird discount. Please see the school website for more details.

2023 Chinese Summer Camp offers a specific learning theme each week. Students may choose the storytelling class, the conversation class, culture workshop, enrichment class, or a sport class from the community program. Your child may attend a whole day or a half day class from 8:00am-5:00pm. 

2023年爾灣中文學校夏令營接受報名中，盡早完成報名將可享早鳥優惠。名額有限，報名詳細資訊請參閱學校網站。

每週提供不同的學習主題，學生可選擇中文故事班, 中文會話班, 文化工作坊, 才藝營, 或社區課程的運動營，可選擇全天班或半天班，早上8點到下午5點。

Volunteer Needed for Summer Program

夏令營招募高中生志工

We are recruiting High School Volunteers for Summer Camp. High school students including freshmen this fall who are 15 years old are eligible to apply. Students who have done the required service hours are eligible to apply for the President's Volunteer Service Award through Irvine Chinese School. Please see the attached guideline and link for volunteer signing up.

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
