教務處公告

• We are going to have our last class in 2022 and the final exam for this coming week (12/14, 12/17, 12/18). Please prepare for your exam.  After the winter break, the school will resume on 1/4,1/7,1/8. Wishing you all safe and happy holidays.  
• As we look forward to the holidays, we know that many of you may be planning to travel during the winter break. To avoid the surge of Covid cases again, please pay attention to safe gathering tips, the pre- and post- travel testing and quarantining. 

• 本週(12/14, 12/17, 12/18)為2022年最後一堂課，也是期末考。謹提醒大家好好準備考試。假期之後學校將於1/4,1/7,1/8恢復上課。預祝大家假期平安愉快!
• 聖誕新年假期將近，為了避免疫情再起，如果您和家人有出門旅遊的計畫，在此提醒大家與親友假期團聚仍要安全防疫，並注意完成旅行前後的必要檢測和居家檢疫。

Irvine Chinese Immersion Academy Charter Petition Received Strong Support at Public Hearing
公聽會熱烈支持爾灣中文沈浸式學校

Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) held a public hearing for Irvine Chinese Immersion Academy (ICIA) charter petition on December 13, 2022. The meeting room was packed with parents, students and community members to show their support for the proposed charter school.

在短短一個月內，爾灣中文沈浸式學校（ICIA）收到超過680人簽名連署，成立公立特許小學的請願書十月底正式遞交爾灣聯合學區(Irvine Unified School District)，根據加州法律規定，學區必須在60天內召開公聽會，聽取來自家長、教師、學區職員及社區人士的意見。

D@S Annual Holiday Recital

年度舞蹈聚會

D@S offers comprehensive training for all levels of dancers. Students from the Chinese classic dance, Chinese folk dance, ballet, dance fitness and yoga classes will showcase their accomplishments in the recital. The Chinese Dance Company of Southern California will also be invited to perform.
 
D@S舞蹈基地提供了多樣性的舞蹈課程，包括中國民族舞、古典舞、芭蕾、舞蹈塑身、啟蒙舞蹈、瑜珈等等，讓我們一起來看看大小舞者們有那些收穫吧!

Call for DIY Lanterns

徵集DIY燈籠

We would like to decorated your DIY lanterns at OC Lantern Festival event. Every family can pick up a lantern from cultural center and decorate by your own. The participants' lanterns have the opportunity to be displayed in the Concert Hall on February 18.

我們想在 OC 元宵節活動中裝飾您的 DIY 燈籠。 每個家庭都可以從文化中心領取一個燈籠，用任何黏貼或彩繪的方法裝飾獨一無二的燈籠。 參賽者的燈籠有機會於2月18日在音樂廳展出。

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
