School Announcements 教務處公告

• 2022-2023 ICS  academic activity has been brought to a successful close. You will see these wonderful works of Penmanship/Drawing and Picture-Narration on campus and the online student corner by our very own ICS students very soon.   

• Starting this weekend, temperature screening and masking are optional per the needs of individuals. However, masking is still highly recommended. 
• 2022-2023秋季學術推廣活動已圓滿結束。學校正遴選各班佳作放在校內及學生園地展示，敬請期待。
• 本週末開始，測量體溫及戴口罩改為自由選擇，校方仍然建議大家保持良好衛生習慣及依個人所需適時地戴口罩。

iChineseReader Instructions 使用說明 

• Please log in the iChineseReader on Google Chrome. Or you may link from "iChineseReader Login" at the school website.
• Logging in to the  iCR  for the first time will be requested to complete a placement test. Please complete it and don't worry about the result. Your teacher will adjust the reading level per your child’s proficiency. 
• iCR is in the process of transitioning to a brand new user interface. Please find your monthly assigned books under the category of “Homework” in the new interface or “Assignment” in the old one. 

• 使用iChinese Reader請在Google Chrome登錄，也可從學校網站登入(login)選擇iChineseReader login。

   

• 首次使用的帳戶，系統介面可能要求完成分級測試，請逕行完成勿擔心結果，老師最後會在系統端調整學生個別的閱讀程度。

   

• iCR系統現正值新舊介面轉換過程，學生欲尋找老師指定的閱讀作業，舊介面的分類標題為"Assignment", 新介面分類的標題則為"Homework"

Your signature is needed for Irvine Chinese Immersion Academy 請支持我們成立公立爾灣中英雙語沉浸式學校

The past weekend SCCCA received a lot of positive feedback from the parents and community members on the Chinese Immersion Charter school petition. The petition is aiming to submit to seek authorization from the Irvine Unified School District by Nov. 1, 2022. Timely support from the community is critical to the success of this initiative. Please sign on the required forms.

南海岸中華文化協會所推動的支持爾灣成立公立爾灣中英雙語沉浸式學校的簽名聯署，一推出便收到社區居民的熱烈歡迎。未來一旦獲得通過，此一全新的公立特許學校預計名稱為Irvine Chinese Immersion Academy 公立爾灣中英雙語沉浸式學校 ，將可為大爾灣地區提供重要的文化語言服務。

呼籲對公立爾灣中英雙語沉浸式學校有興趣的學生家長或監護人，親自到 9 Truman Irvine 聯署簽名，或者自行打印出表格和簽名後送到9 Truman Irvine。

南海岸中華文化協會(SCCCA)，是由南加華人自發組成的教育文化公益組織，不但在1976年成立了南加最具規模的爾灣中文學校，在2005年更凝聚華人社區力量，南加最大的南海岸中華文化中心，致力於傳承及發揚傳統中華文化，推廣中文學習，進而提倡及實現多元文化的和諧社會。

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
