New parents are encouraged to review course information and registration details on the school website during that period. We advise parents of returning students to carefully monitor their registration notification emails and register promptly to secure a spot. |

Information Session for Parents of Middle/High School Freshmen
初高中新生家長說明會即將登場！ |
The information session for middle/high school freshmen and parents is approaching! This session will highlight ICS middle/high school courses, the AP Chinese exam, and extracurricular credit courses. Additionally, we will provide an overview of the curriculum and materials. Please note that the online English session will take place on the evening of 3/23, and there will be two in-person Chinese sessions on 3/24. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to participate together, and our experienced high school teachers will be on hand to address your inquiries.

Chinese schools adopt a comprehensive curriculum approach, recognizing that language and culture are inseparable. They integrate various cultural activities like calligraphy, Chinese painting, poetry, songs, and leverage students' existing talents and skills to foster interest and motivation in learning Chinese. By nurturing cultural identity, Chinese schools ensure the sustainability of learning over time.

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did SCCCA establish the largest scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established independently the only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture and Chinese learning and advocating and realizing a multicultural life."
