1. The final exam of the 1st semester is scheduled on December 14, 17 & 18. If you are not able to attend the class, please notify your language teacher.
2. Just a warm reminder that it’s time to conclude the first semester. Please pay attention to your child’s current grade or any assignment is missing. 

1. 第一學期期末考訂於12/14, 12/17, 12/18, 如果貴子弟因故缺考，請告知老師。
2. 溫馨提醒家長，第一學期已經接近尾聲。請關注貴子弟目前成績狀況以及是否有作業缺交，以免影響學期成績。

家長服務點數

Parents who have completed the volunteering service need to submit your request for the service points through Sycamore. More parent volunteering opportunities for the 2023 Lantern Festival on February 18, 2023. Parents are welcome to sign up two-slots per family.   

已完成校內義工服務的家長請記得進Sycamore登記。將於2023年2月18日舉辦的新春校外服務_元宵燈會已開放登記，歡迎父母同時登記完成點數。

Public Hearing for Charter Petition

爾灣中文沉浸式雙語學校公聽會

We are glad to inform you that since we first began the petition drive, hundreds parents have added their names to the charter petition. As the next step of the charter petition process, a public hearing is scheduled for us to present information and answer questions pertaining to the charter petition at the Irvine Unified School District Board Meeting on December 13 at 6:30pm.

We would like to invite you to attend the public hearing. Your physical presence alone sends a powerful message - the establishment of a Chinese Immersion School within the Irvine Unified School District is critically important to all of us.

Parents and community members who support the charter petition are encouraged to wear a customized T-shirt. By wearing the T-shirt at the public hearing, we may express our appreciation towards Chinese culture and language. Please pick up the T-Shirt at your convenience and share this message with your friends and family to help further the cause. All community members are welcome to join us. Thank you very much!

在我們與穀歌合作「認識電腦科學的系列」中，將帶動初、高中學生進一步認識電腦工程行業。

講座由谷歌公司的華裔軟體工程師Sean Chang，本人來分享他為什麼選擇在大學主修電腦科學，電腦軟體工程師的日常工作，並回答有關電腦科學的提問，歡迎七年級到十二年級的學生/家長報名。

南海岸中華文化協會(SCCCA)，是由南加華人自發組成的教育文化公益組織，不但在1976年成立了南加最具規模的爾灣中文學校，在2005年更凝聚華人社區力量，南加最大的南海岸中華文化中心，致力於傳承及發揚傳統中華文化，推廣中文學習，進而提倡及實現多元文化的和諧社會。

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
