Question:  With the Lunar New Year approaching, how can I engage my children to immerse them in the festive ambiance?

Answer: Behind each traditional Chinese festival lies captivating legends, customs, and unique delicacies. Parents can seize quality time with their children to narrate tales about the origins and legends of the Lunar New

Year, elucidate the significance of the reunion dinner on New Year's Eve, or relish traditional New Year dishes like Niáncài (年菜) or Niángāo (年糕) together. Additionally, parents can instruct children on giving New Year greetings or uttering auspicious phrases. For parents residing abroad, involving children in Chinese New Year celebrations becomes particularly significant, allowing them to fully embrace the celebratory atmosphere. SCCCA & ICS have also arranged a range of festive activities. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to participate and immerse themselves in the vibrant New Year atmosphere.
