Daylight saving time starts at 2 o’clock on Sunday, March 12th. Don’t forget to set your clock forward one hour.

If you are interested in participating the competition of the Southern California Council of Chinese Schools on May 7th, please reach out to your teachers. The competition includes poetic recitation (Kinder -6th grade), Storytelling (Kinder- 6th grade), and Culture Briefing(7th grade-high school).

南加州中文學校春季學術比賽將於5月7日舉行，比賽項目包括詩詞朗誦(Kinder-六年級)、說故事(Kinder-六年級)、及簡報(七年級-高中)，有意參加的同學可向老師報名。

New Public Charter School ICIA Info sessions

ICIA 公立特許小學招生說明會

ICIA is the first-ever charter school authorized by IUSD and will enroll more than 400 students in the Mandarin Immersion program starting this fall. The campus is at 1 Liberty, Irvine. The first day of school is August 24, 2023.

Chinese Storytime for Kids

In order to better serve our community and SCCCA's families, we will launch Chinese Storytelling activities on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. The details of time slots are below. Please select your available time slot and fill in the form to make a reservation.

We offer three terms of Chinese Storytime for kids. Each term (month) has one topic. The details are below.

March -- Social and emotional communication (三月主題-社交與情感交流)
April -- Culture and literature development (四月主題-文化與文學發展)
May-- Science and technology exploration (五月主題-科學與技術探索)

南海岸中華文化協會(SCCCA)，是由南加華人自發組成的教育文化公益組織，不但在1976年成立了南加最具規模的爾灣中文學校，在2005年更凝聚華人社區力量，南加最大的南海岸中華文化中心，致力於傳承及發揚傳統中華文化，推廣中文學習，進而提倡及實現多元文化的和諧社會。

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
