The excellent masterpieces of Penmanship, Picture-Narration and Penmanship/Drawing now are exhibited on campus. You will see how students show their comprehension of Chinese poetry and life, their language skills, and their talented on Chinese writing and drawing.. The exhibition will last three weeks. 

校內秋季學術推廣活動的優秀作品已經開始在校內展示。學生透過精彩的書寫與繪畫，表達他們對中文古詩和生活的理解和語言技巧。這些作品將展示三週，敬請把握機會欣賞。

Parent Survey 

線上家長問卷調查

You are going to receive the parent survey on Google Form this week. Please choose the correct link to complete the survey per your child’s class/track (CSL/Pinyin/Zhuyin). Your response will help us to improve and plan.

本周將對全校家長發出學期線上家長問卷調查，懇請家長根據貴子弟的班級(CSL/漢語拼音/繁體注音)選擇鏈結，撥冗填寫以協助學校改進與規劃。

Daylight saving time ends on this coming Sunday, November 6th. Just a heads up that your clocks need to be tuned backward 1 hour on Saturday night.  

日光節約時間將於本週日(11/6)結束，謹提醒大家記得在週六晚上將時間撥慢一小時。

Fall Into Music & Cultural Experiences

「秋意濃」南海岸中華樂團/鼓團年度音樂會及文化體驗

Come enjoy the rich & colorful melody presented by South Coast Chinese Orchestra and Drum Team on Nov 13 (Sunday) from 11am at the Mar Amphitheater. The orchestra will showcase several new pieces under the guidance of music director Bin He. Try on a traditional hanfu costume and take photos with musical instruments. Decorate your own paper lantern, hand fan or Chinese opera mask.

南海岸中華樂團/鼓團將於11月13日（週日）11點起，在南海岸中華文化中心戶外劇場舉行年度音樂會，除了有樂團及鼓團大合奏，並有琵琶、古箏、中阮、二胡、笛子等不同樂器的獨奏及小合奏，11:30現場安排試穿漢服、彩繪燈籠、扇子及京劇臉譜、巨形象棋、傳統美食品嚐等等，音樂會及文化體驗均免費開放參加。

Asian American Youth Leaders 2.0 One-Day Workshop

During this one-day workshop, students will attend a series of seminars on the following topics: Asian American Identity, Mental Health, and Advocating for the Asian American Community.
Following the completion of this one-day workshop, students will have the option to continue with the program and possibly participate in activities such as:

• Student-oriented professional development workshops
• Student-led projects
• Internships

Participants/Audience: High School Students in Orange County (Grades 9-12)

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
