Parenting Tips

Question:  In terms of children learning Chinese overseas, which set of teaching materials is considered the most effective?

Answer: Due to the substantial differences in the learning backgrounds and language proficiency of each child, there exists a diverse range of options for teaching materials designed for overseas use. These materials are typically tailored to accommodate varying language levels and backgrounds of students. Parents should select teaching materials based on their child's specific learning needs, taking into account instructional design that aims at developing comprehensive skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Instead of obsessing over the quantity of vocabulary in each textbook, it is more crucial for a child's learning focus to be applied in practical life situations.
