Mother's Day Perfomance

母親節 - 文化演出/展示

We are going to celebrate Mother's Day this weekend. ICS moms are enthusiastically invited to enjoy children’s performances in the amphitheater. Please arrive 20 minutes earlier when you are going to pick up your children. And meanwhile moms may find a note or a surprise from your children.  

本週末慶祝母親節，ICS邀請每位媽媽在放學時提早20分鐘到，駐足停留戶外劇場聽孩子們的演唱。同時到各班級看板找一下您的孩子寫給母親的祝福話語或驚喜小禮物。

1. The 2022-2023 school year is coming to an end. Students are going to take the final exam of the second semester this weekend. Please prepare well. 
2. ICS now is in the process of approving the requests of parent volunteer service points. Please log into your Sycamore to check if your requests of service points are submitted/approved. Feel free to reach out jnsu@sccca.org if you have any questions.
3. 2023-2024 School Year Policy Reminder: Students should stay in the assigned class throughout the school year. There is no make up class if any class is missed by the students. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.

AAYL SUMMER PROGRAM 2023

The Asian American Youth Leaders Summer Program is a five-day educational experience for high school students collaboratively designed by University of California, Irvine students under the mentorship of Professor Judy Tzu-Chun Wu and Tony Hwang. 

Students will attend college-level seminars developed to introduce the histories, politics, literature, and art of Asian American communities.

June 26 - 30, 2023
1 pm - 5 pm
Participants: High School Students (9th - 12th grade)

Volunteer Needed for Summer Program

夏令營招募高中生志工

We are recruiting High School Volunteers for Summer Camp. High school students including freshmen this fall who are 15 years old are eligible to apply. Students who have done the required service hours are eligible to apply for the President's Volunteer Service Award through Irvine Chinese School. Please view the guideline and link for volunteer signing up on website.

4月15日南海岸中華文化中心和橙縣角聲中心聯合舉辦的青少年家長教育研習會研習會- 《反霸凌校園安全》及青少年組的《將心比心》研習會現場視頻來囉～
鑑於近期內發生數起的校園槍擊，亞裔仇恨，族裔衝突升高等令人憂心的社會現象，橙縣角聲中心配合南海岸文化中心攜手合作，化被動為主動，聯手出擊，護衛心理健康及人身安全的研習會。知識就是力量，防微杜漸，拒絕暴力，反對歧視，讓我們攜手連心，同住地球村，無分老少，齊建造美好安全家園.

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
