• Students now may start their  iChineseRedeader  reading assignment. Please complete your reading by the due date. If you have any questions to access the system, please check your email and contact the school office via reg@sccca.org 

   

• Students who test positive for COVID-19 can return to the school IF they are experiencing no COVID-19 symptoms AND a COVID-19 test taken on day 5 or later is negative.

• Please check the Lost and Found at the front door to get your stuff back.

• 各班iChinese Reader 十月份閱讀作業已經發布, 請記得在指定日期前完成。 若有任何問題，請與學校辦公室聯絡 reg@sccca.org 
• 學生如果因確診缺席, 需在確診日後第五天後快篩或PCR檢測陰性，且無任何症狀才可以返校上課。
• 每週上課前後，校門口有失物招領處，請各位家長留意取回。

Parent volunteering: More on campus service opportunities on weekdays and weekends are added. Parents are welcome to sign up.  

義工服務已增加更多服務機會，同時也開放非周末時段，請時間可以配合的家長上網填寫。

2022-2023 Chinese academic activity

校內秋季學術推廣活動

To enhance students’ performance on penmanship and picture-narration, 2022-2023 Chinese academic activity will be held from 10/8 to 10/16. All students need to participate, except the kindergarteners. CSL and Pinyin/Zhuyin 1-3 graders will take the penmanship only. 4-12 graders will take both the Penmanship and the Picture-Narration. The writing performance will also be included in students’ grading of the school year. Students with good performance have the opportunities to participate in the SCCCS contest.

為了鼓勵學生提高看圖作文和硬筆書寫的能力，2022-2023校內秋季學術推廣活動即將於10/8- 10/16在語文課時段舉行。除了幼稚園班，所有學生都將參加。CSL及拼音/注音1-3年級學生參與硬筆書法/繪畫。4-12年級則同時參加硬筆書法和看圖作文兩個項目。學生書寫成績將納入學期計分。表現優異者將有機會參加校外比賽。

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
