The 2024 AP Chinese exam registration has begun and is open for high school students at our school only. If parents or students have not received an email notification, please contact jnsu@sccca.org

iChinese Reader學生帳號及密碼已經通過郵件寄發，所有學生可開始進行線上閱讀及完成老師指定的當月閱讀作業, 若有任何問題，請與學校辦公室聯絡 reg@sccca.org 。

iChineseReader Instructions

使用說明 

• Please log in the iChineseReader on Google Chrome. Or you may link from "iChineseReader Login" at the school website.
• Logging in to the  iCR  for the first time will be requested to complete a placement test. Please complete it and don't worry about the result. Your teacher will adjust the reading level per your child’s proficiency. 
• iCR is in the process of transitioning to a brand new user interface. Please find your monthly assigned books under the category of “Homework” in the new interface or “Assignment” in the old one. 

• 使用iChinese Reader請在Google Chrome登錄，也可從學校網站登入(login)選擇iChineseReader login。
• 首次使用的帳戶，系統介面可能要求完成分級測試，請逕行完成勿擔心結果，老師最後會在系統端調整學生個別的閱讀程度。
• iCR系統現正值新舊介面轉換過程，學生欲尋找老師指定的閱讀作業，舊介面的分類標題為"Assignment", 新介面分類的標題則為"Homework"

Thank you to all the parent volunteers who took part in the Mid-Autumn Festival event at the Great Park. A gentle reminder to please remember to log your service hours on Sycamore (every 3 hours of off-campus activity equals 5 points).

非常感謝參與中秋節大公園活動的家長義工，溫馨提醒不要忘記上Sycamore登錄服務點數(校外活動每3小時等於5點) 

After the event, please submit your service hours via Sycamore. See below for the steps: 

1. Log in to your Sycamore account.
2. Navigate to "Service Logs" under the "My School" section located in the left column options.
3. Click on "New Log" at the top right-hand corner of the page.
4. Enter the number of hours you volunteered for the event and then click "Submit."
5. Your request for event service hours will be marked as pending. The school will review based on your check in/out record and approve your request at a later time.
6. Any question for service hours please call 949-559-6868 ext. 583 during the school hours.

爾灣中秋市民同樂!

This year's festival was a vibrant showcase of the diverse music, dance, and culture from several Asian countries. 

The air was filled with the resounding beats of traditional 

drums, the elegance of Korean dances, and the melodic tunes of Chinese orchestras, uniting everyone in celebration.

南海岸中華文化中心與爾灣市府共同主辦第三屆 “ Mid Autumn Festival” 中秋節活動，29日晚上吸引成千上萬居民參與，在大公園歡度的中秋佳節，透過音樂、 舞蹈、文化、美食促進主流社會對亞裔文化的認識 ，增加跨族裔的互動交流。

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
