Lunar New Year Celebration

農曆新春活動 

We are going to celebrate the Lunar New Year this coming weekend on January 21st and 22nd. Students need to come to school on time. The first period of the class is the cultural instruction and follows the outdoor festival. In order to watch the outdoor performance, please note the morning classes will end at 11:20am. The afternoon classes will be dismissed at 4:00pm on Saturday & 3:30pm on Sunday, but are welcome to arrive earlier for the outdoor performance.  School will be dismissed at the same location.

本週末(1/21, 1/22)為農曆新年校內新春活動，學生當天需準時到校參加活動。第一節課是文化教學, 第二節課是戶外園遊會。活動當天, 上午班會在11:20結束,  下午班則在週六4:00/週日3:30結束, 但歡迎下午班提早到校,以欣賞中午時段的戶外表演。

農曆新春活動 - 家長義工徵集

As we look forward to the Lunar New Year, the on campus activities on January 21st  & 22nd need your participation and support. And meanwhile lower grade students need chaperones on that day. Parents now are welcome to sign up to fulfill your parent service requirement. (One slot for chaperone and/or one slot for booth keeper per family) Please note your participation can’t be counted as service points if you don’t sign up ahead of time.

農曆新年校內新春活動，需要大量家長參與和支援，低年級學生當天也需要家長或成人陪伴。如果您還需要達到家長義工服務點數，請把握機會登記。

溫馨提醒: 請把握機會登記，未事先登記的時間將無法折算為服務點數 。

南海岸中華文化協會(SCCCA)，是由南加華人自發組成的教育文化公益組織，不但在1976年成立了南加最具規模的爾灣中文學校，在2005年更凝聚華人社區力量，南加最大的南海岸中華文化中心，致力於傳承及發揚傳統中華文化，推廣中文學習，進而提倡及實現多元文化的和諧社會。

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
