The Monkey King Musical will be performed at
O.C. Lantern Festival 2023

美猴王即將登場元宵節活動

Free Family event! Bring the entire family and join us for Pacific Symphony’s annual Lantern Festival, celebrating the Year of the Rabbit! The South Coast Chinese Orchestra and the Chinese Dance Company of Southern California will perform the Monkey King original musical at the opening of the event. 

一年一度的元宵節活動即將登場，享受音樂與藝術結合的美麗盛宴。南海岸中華樂團與南加中華舞團將在活動開場時演出美猴王原創音樂劇。由何彬老師作曲，結合中國傳統樂器、西方弦樂器音樂、中國傳統舞蹈與武術，講述美猴王的故事，精彩可期，不容錯過！

Call for DIY Lanterns

徵集DIY燈籠 

We would like to decorated your DIY lanterns at OC Lantern Festival event. Every family can pick up a lantern from cultural center and decorate by your own. The participants' lanterns have the opportunity to be displayed in the Concert Hall on February 18.

我們想在 OC 元宵節活動中裝飾您的 DIY 燈籠。 每個家庭都可以從文化中心領取一個燈籠，用任何黏貼或彩繪的方法裝飾獨一無二的燈籠。 參賽者的燈籠有機會於2月18日在音樂廳展出。

The O.C. Lantern Festival, presented by Pacific Symphony and South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, is a community event where the act of appreciating lanterns is a way for people to let go of the burdens of their old selves and express their best wishes for themselves and their families for the future.
We invite you to submit artwork that depicts your own wishes for the future...

2023 橙縣元宵燈會由南海岸中華文化中心及太平洋交響樂團合辦，主辦單位已開始徵求藝術作品，獲選的佳作將在音樂廳中展出，今年的主題是” Wishes for the Future...

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
