Principal Chung Awarded Lifetime Achievement by the Overseas Compatriots Culture and Education Foundation
鍾幼蘭校長榮獲第五屆海外師鐸獎  得獎感言

The Overseas Compatriots Culture and Education Foundation announced their fifth Overseas Teachers Award recipients in September. Principal Chung is one of the ten Lifetime Achievement award recipients.

海華文教基金會日前宣布第五屆海外師鐸獎得獎名單，爾灣中文學校校長鍾幼蘭等十人獲得終身成就獎。鍾女士今年遺憾無法回台領獎，特別錄製了得獎感言影片，感謝海內外的認同與鼓勵

South Coast Chinese Orchestra/Drum Team Annual Recital
秋意濃-南海岸中華樂團/鼓團 年度音樂會

The annual concert of the South Coast Chinese Orchestra/Drum Troupe will be performed at the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center Amphitheatre on Sunday, 11/13. You will be able to see the superb performance of the orchestra and individual performances of each part. We welcome the community to join us. Spend this day full of notes together.

南海岸中華樂團/鼓團 年度音樂會將在11/13星期日於南海岸中華文化中心露天劇場演出，屆時將可以看到樂團精湛的演出，以及每一聲部的個別演出，歡迎社區民眾與我們共度這充滿音符的一天。

Announcing Family Support Program
文化中心歡喜宣佈家庭服務項目！

We care about our students and students’ families! We are in the same community. Do you know someone who has difficulties navigating the healthcare system such as Medicare, MediCal, CalOptima, or even is uninsured? 

South Coast Chinese Cultural Center has launched a new Family Support Program (FSP) to help Chinese families make progress on various life challenges in the post-pandemic time.

健康的個人造就健全的社區！南海岸中華文化中心推出一個全新的家庭服務項目 (Family Support Program, FSP) ，協助華人家庭解決在後疫情時代所面臨的各種生活挑戰。

您知道有人在醫療保健系統（如 Medicare、MediCal、CalOptima）中摸索而遇到困難，甚至沒有保險嗎？您認識的人當中，有人面臨某種精神健康的困境，或者有人需要得到支持/互助團體的幫助嗎？ 您的家人或朋友可以從免費的公民服務中受益嗎？

Asian American Youth Leaders 2.0 One-Day Workshop

During this one-day workshop, students will attend a series of seminars on the following topics: Asian American Identity, Mental Health, and Advocating for the Asian American Community.
Following the completion of this one-day workshop, students will have the option to continue with the program and possibly participate in activities such as:

• Student-oriented professional development workshops
• Student-led projects
• Internships

Date: Saturday, November 12, 2022
Time: 9am - 12:30pm
Location: South Coast Chinese Cultural Center (9 Truman St, Irvine, CA 92620)
Participants/Audience: High School Students in Orange County (Grades 9-12)

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
