School Updates

• Online Teacher-Parent conference is coming up this weekend! It’s scheduled the night of the second school day. Parents with more than two children may attend the conference at 7:00pm and 7:30 pm. Please pay attention to the notification from your teacher.
• For Sunday AM/PM sessions, cultural and sport elective classes start this coming school day. For K-2nd grade classes, the elective teachers will be the language teachers of the home classroom.
• Starting 8/27, weekend students will receive their textbooks. Due to the delay on transportation, Far East Chinese for Youth (Middle School classes) will be received later. 
• The school will provide opportunities to on campus activities or events for parents volunteering. All the relevant policies will be announced later.

• 開學第二週為線上親師會Online Teacher Parent Conference, 時間是第二週上課當晚7:00及7:30兩場，以便於家有兩個學生以上的家長參加。請家長注意老師通知。。
• 週日班本週開始文化和體育選修課。二年級以下將由原任語文老師教授文化課。
• 週末班8/27開始發放課本，遠東少年中文因運輸受到延誤，待書本送到後發出。
• 家長義工服務的方式仍在商議中，學校會提供機會讓家長參與校內外活動，待確定後另行公告。
• 高中校外學分班本週(8/28)開始上課。欲申請的高中生請先向美制高中索取校外選修課表格，再到中文學校辦公室辦理註冊。截止日為9月11日。

SCCCC is in partnership with SoCal Elite Sports to form the basketball teams, welcome all the girls/ boys from kindergarten to the 4 th graders to join. There are a information meetings and free workout on August 29. Please reserve your spot.

南海岸中華文化中心和專門訓練幼兒籃球等運動的SoCal Elite Sports合作將成立籃球隊，所有幼稚園到4年級的男女生們都歡迎加入，中心將於29日，由SoCal Elite Sports總監主持的說明會，歡迎預約。

Badminton for Youth

兒童羽毛球

This is a wonderful sport whether you are playing with a group of friends or competing at national and local tournaments. This class is instructed by experienced coaches and provides the training for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

此課程根據不同水平的學生，提供不同的指導訓練。初級者將學習羽毛球基本技術、步法。對於較進階者提供技能、戰術及競賽規則，提高其達到更高水平的能力。
