It is the policy and commitment of SCCCA that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, or religion. SCCCA is committed to ensuring equal, fair, and meaningful access to education services and employment.
SCCCA prohibits, in any employment practice, educational program, or educational activity, unlawful discrimination, including discriminatory harassment, intimidation, and bullying, based on actual or perceived race or ethnicity, color, ancestry, nationality, national origin, ethnic group identification, age, religion, marital or parental status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, genetic information, veteran or military status, medical condition and related conditions, retaliation, or political beliefs; or association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics.
SCCCA does not discriminate in enrollment in or access to any of the activities and programs available. Admission to these programs is based on age appropriateness, class space, interest, aptitude, and prerequisite coursework where applicable. SCCCA also does not discriminate in its hiring or employment practices.
