The Wan-Lin Kiang Endowed Lecture Series was established in 2003 by Ms. Assumpta Kiang in memory of her husband, Wan-Lin Kiang, a noted international scholar, political advisor and businessman. The series annually brings to campus a noted scholar on relevant topics related to China.

江趙蘭潤於 2003 年在爾灣加大創立江萬齡紀念講座，講座以亞洲為中心，由爾灣加大社會科學院及人文學院聯合主辦，邀請來自世界各地的學者擔任主講人，也曾安排跨越學院的熱門人物現身說法。江萬齡紀念講座不僅提供學者專家交流的機會，也吸引許多關注亞洲事務的社區人士參與，有助於促進學術合作，並帶動重視亞洲研究的風氣。

South Coast Chinese Orchestra Spring Recital
南海岸中華樂團春季公演

The South Coast Chinese Orchestra held its annual spring performance on May 6th. The concert concluded with the orchestra's performance of four new pieces. The audience responded enthusiastically, making it a melodious afternoon to remember.

南海岸中華樂團於5月6日舉辦一年一度的春季公演，一開始由各初級班的新血演出多首耳熟能詳的曲目，高級班也展現團體演奏的技巧，以及樂團裡的弦樂部演出西洋曲目，最後由樂團演出四首新曲。 觀眾反應熱烈，一同度過了樂聲悠揚的午後。

南海岸中華文化協會(SCCCA)，是由南加華人自發組成的教育文化公益組織，不但在1976年成立了南加最具規模的爾灣中文學校，在2005年更凝聚華人社區力量，南加最大的南海岸中華文化中心，致力於傳承及發揚傳統中華文化，推廣中文學習，進而提倡及實現多元文化的和諧社會。

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) is an educational and cultural charity organization spontaneously formed by Chinese in Southern California. Not only did it establish the largest-scale Irvine Chinese School in Southern California in 1976, it also gathered the strength of the Chinese community in 2005 and established it independently The only South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Southern California is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, promoting Chinese learning, and advocating and realizing a multicultural life.
