Kindred Spirits Chorus – Irvine (KSC-Irvine) was established in 1991 with about 40 seasoned chorus members. It is a non-profit, community outreach organization with love as the basis and music as a bridge to reach out. The goal of the chorus is to use music as a way to connect with the community. Under the leadership of chorus conductors through the years, KSC has been sharing Christian heart and soul warming melodies as well as classical and modern music.
On July 28, 2018, former and current members of KSC jointly performed in a concert, “It’s a Grand Night for Singing! ” With beautiful music resounding through the earth and human souls, the occasion afforded KSC an opportunity to attract new members who shared its interests. KSC has been actively participating in Chinese communities. It has celebrated birthdays and holidays with members of the Irvine Evergreen Chinese Senior Association. More recently, it has joined Luke Christian Medical Mission’s Service to the Retired Missionary concert called “Love of Medical Missionaries, Nostalgia for the Homeland”.
In addition, for purposes of music exchange and learning , KSC co-hosted joint concerts with Community Youth Orchestra of Southern California, conducted by Robert Lau; North Orange County Children’s Choir, NTU Alumni Chorus – Southern California, the New Orange County Children’s Choir, Accordia Ensemble, and the Irvine Chinese Chorus.
KSC had planned to visit Freedom Village Retirement Community to give a cross-culture community concert on March 20, 2020. The pandemic forced its cancellation. Post- COVID-19, the plan is to resume its goal of community service with love and music under the leadership of conductor Amanda Chiang and pianist Cara Kuo.

爾灣知音合唱團成立於 1991 年，有四十位經驗豐富的男女團員，是一個以愛為根基，以音樂為橋樑的社區型非營利合唱組織。成立的宗旨是藉著音樂做社區關懷與連結的工作，在歷任指揮的帶領下， 凡是基督教撫慰人心溫馨動人的詩歌和古今多元文化 經典音樂，都是知音所樂於傳唱與分享的。
2018 年 7 月 28 日，結合新舊團員的音樂饗宴「高山流水遇知音」演唱會，以飛颺的音符穿梭在天地山 水與心靈之間，尋覓知音。 歷年來知音積極參與華人社團的活動，早年經常與爾灣松柏會的長輩們共度慶生會與佳節，近期則參與北美路加醫療傳道會主辦的關懷退休宣教士音樂會~ 杏林愛故鄉情。
另外，也分別與柳可久老師指揮的南加州社區青少年樂團、北橙縣兒童合唱團、南加州台大校友合唱團、橙音兒童合唱團、吾風合聲、爾灣華聲合唱團共同舉辦聯合音樂會，達到互相交流與學習的目的。
2020 年 3 月 20 日，原計畫前往 Freedom Village Retirement Community 做跨文化的社區關懷服務，但 因 COVID-19 疫情影響而被迫中止。期待疫情過後， 在現任指揮江彩君及鋼琴伴奏郭惠愛兩位老師的指導 下，知音能一本初衷，繼續以愛與歌聲服務橙縣社區。
