Irvine Chinese School is selected to be one of the beneficiaries of the Cathay Bank’s 45th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. This signature event of Cathay Bank has generated millions for local nonprofits since its inception in 1977.
Principal Chung of Irvine Chinese School attended the tournament dinner on November 1. She expressed appreciation to Cathy Bank and Dr. Peter Wu, chairman of the Cathay Bank Charity Foundation. Mike Huang, James Huang, David Chen and Paul Lee represented SCCCA in the golf tournament with Ivy Huang as reception volunteer.
國泰銀行慈善高爾夫球賽自1977年成立以來，已為本地非營利組織籌款數百萬元，爾灣中文學校今年再度獲選為國泰銀行慈善高爾夫球賽捐款的非營利組織之一。
國泰銀行基金會主席吳平原表示，儘管由於不可抗力原因，暫停了兩屆慈善高爾夫球賽，但是該基金會從未忘記使命。如今的社區比以往任何時候都更需要支持。他邀請大家響應舉辦慈善高爾夫球賽的初衷，攜手共建美好社區。
