Parents and students of Irvine Chinese School celebrated the lunar new year with wonderful performances and games over the weekend. The sights and sounds of dragon dance, wushu, Chinese yoyo, folk dances, and traditional instruments were unforgettable as the community came together to experience the rich heritage of Chinese culture.

爾灣中文學校師生及家長，21日及22日兩天在校園中歡慶農曆新年。代表加州第73選區的州眾議員Cottie Petrie-Norris，及爾灣中文學校創校校長符慕美枝，22日應邀與師生同慶佳節。Cottie Petrie-Norris致詞說，很榮幸受鍾幼蘭校長邀請出席爾灣中文學校的新年活動，今年是兔年，而她的生肖也屬兔，她祝福大家新的一年充滿源源不絕的平安、喜樂與幸福。
爾灣市警局為防患未然，22日主動在南海岸中華文化中心加派警力，維護社區安全，令全校師生及家長特別感謝。
