What an incredible night! We're still buzzing with excitement after watching the awe-inspiring video of the Monkey King at our celebration party. We're beyond grateful to have had the talented Mr. Bing He as our conductor and composer. His incredible vision and dedication brought the Monkey King to life in a way that we'll never forget. And of course, a huge thank you to our producer Ms. Janie Tsao for the delicious Chinese food. Let's give a round of applause to everyone who made this night one to remember – we can't wait to see what's in store for the future!
南海岸中華文化中心2月25日晚上舉辦一場慶功宴，感謝南海岸中華樂團指揮何彬老師、音樂總監余江荔老師、製作人吳健及參加《美猴王》首演的南加中華舞團、少林功夫禪學院、JT & Friends等社團，合作推出振奮人心的演出。
這場演出登台的包括各年齡層的藝術菁英，大家在慶功宴中第一次看到演出的錄影，彷彿回到音樂廳的大舞台上，感受到全場觀眾熱烈的掌聲及歡呼。
南海岸中華文化中心執行長鍾幼蘭說，人類文明進步是靠不斷的創新，文化中心堅持走創新的路線，先後創辦自己的樂團及舞團。南海岸中華樂團成立才五年，其中有三年碰到新冠疫情，樂團今年推出《美猴王》音樂劇，再創佳績，體現了美猴王的機智與勇氣。
南加中華舞團藝術總顧問潘志濤教授為演出講評說，在座的每個人都具有美猴王的精神，憑著樂觀進取的膽識與七十二變的本領迎向挑戰，樂團與舞團成員們，每星期團練一到兩次，表現卻不輸專業團體，整場演出令人耳目一新。
最後，何彬老師總結說：「《美猴王》挑戰了二胡加小提琴、竹笛加長笛、豎琴加古箏，接下來怎麼玩？我們已經開始規畫下個新作品，以後一定越玩越精采！」
