Let’s welcome the season of spring with the South Coast Chinese Orchestra's performance of Spring on the Pamir, conducted by Mr. Bing He. This recording features our talented dizi soloist during the Orchestra’s 2022 annual recital.
Spring on the Pamir, an enchanting arrangement by Tatong Li, incorporates traditional Tajik rhythms and folk melodies as the basis. The music vividly depicts the magnificent scenery of the Pamir Plateau in the early spring as the Tajik people sing and dance for the arrival of spring.
