The Asian American Youth Leaders 2.0 is a youth leadership program developed in partnership between the South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA) in Irvine and the Humanities Center at the University of California Irvine. The program celebrated the completion of PhotoVoice with an exhibition of photos and essays from 12 high school students.

State Senator Dave Min listened to students’ presentations on the process of discovering the language of love across generations and ethnic groups. He then presented certificates to all the participants.

Program advisors, Dr. Tony Hwang and Dr. Judy Wu congratulated the students for their outstanding projects. The program instructors, Phuc To and Mary Nguyen, presented photobooks to the students to recognize their hard work and dedication. If you're curious about their projects, you can even view them online or at the Irvine City Hall.
