South Coast Chinese Cultural Center welcomes back hundreds of campers this summer from June 12 to August 11. The first session of our Chinese Cultural program celebrated Dragon Boat Festival with fun activities and crafts. Campers participated in Dragon Boat Races, assembled ingredients for Zongzi, retold the story of Lady White Snake, balanced eggs on the ends at noon, and completed a personal book to take home.
The first session of summer camp at SCCCC was a resounding success. It provided the community with an engaging and educational way to celebrate our heritage and culture.
The SCCCC extends its heartfelt thanks to all the participants, teachers and volunteers who made the summer camp memorable and looks forward to welcoming everyone back for the upcoming sessions!
