What if you heard meowing sound from somewhere inside your car but couldn’t find the source? Here’s the story from Orange County Fire Authority’s Facebook posted on June 26th.
“A Buena Park resident was driving on Knott Ave yesterday morning when she saw a kitten sitting in the middle of the road.
She stopped her car to move the kitten out of the street but it had disappeared. Thinking the baby cat ran off, she continued about her day. When she stopped at her destination she heard a kitten meowing, then heard it again when she got home later that day. She couldn’t find the well hid kitten so she decided to stop by station 61 and the crews went to work looking for it. After removing some of the underbody the kitten was located and removed from the car. Happy to report the kitten was not injured and has already been adopted to a loving home.”
如果你聽到從車子底盤隱約傳來貓叫聲，卻找不到聲音的來源，該怎麼辦呢？橙縣消防局的臉書透露了這則發生在6月25日的真實故事。
根據橙縣消防局的臉書專頁，一位居住在橙縣Buena Park的女士早上駕車出門，在大馬路上看到路中有一隻小貓，她趕緊踩煞車，想下車把小貓移到安全的地方，但是小貓一溜煙就不見蹤影了。好心的女士以為小貓跑走了，就繼續開車抵達目的地，當時她似乎聽到了貓叫聲，但是並沒有留意。後來她駕車回到家裡，又聽到了貓叫聲。她企圖在車子內外找尋，但是卻不見小貓蹤跡，束手無策的時候，只好慢慢把座車開到附近的消防隊尋救協助。
橙縣消防局61分隊的消防員費了九牛二虎之力，拆解車子底盤部分零件，才救出這隻受困的小貓，所幸小貓並沒有受傷，而且隔天就被愛貓人士收養了，真是「好貓運」！
