Irvine Chinese Immersion School held a spectacular Lunar New Year celebration on the morning of February 23rd, attracting enthusiastic participation from preschool and Kindergarten students, as well as their parents.
The event kicked off with a dazzling performance of dragon dance by the Tiger and Owl classes. The young performers not only skillfully controlled the dragon dance but also showcased remarkable artistry, setting the stage for the entire event. Following that, students from the Tiger and Owl classes presented adorable dances and recitations, bringing smiles to the faces of parents in attendance as if melting the entire venue with their cute and innocent expressions. Subsequently, the Tiger and Owl classes made a second appearance, delivering captivating songs and dances that heightened the joyful atmosphere. Finally, the older students from the Kindergarten class presented a captivating musical, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience and bringing the event to its peak with their exceptional performance.
After the performances, the school's teachers arranged various game booths, encouraging active participation from both children and parents, creating an immersive experience filled with laughter. Additionally, the school provided a variety of Lunar New Year snacks, each with profound symbolism, enhancing the festive atmosphere for everyone.
