On February 17th, the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center was to invited by OCTA to participate in the Lunar New Year Celebration. The event featured a lively lion dance performance and was graced by the presence of Mayor Farrah N. Khan of Irvine.

In addition, 100 guests were invited to enjoy a complimentary train ride to LA China Town to witness the grand Golden Dragon Parade, showcasing the growing appreciation and participation of mainstream American society in Asian cultures. The atmosphere was vibrant and festive, reflecting the warmth of the occasion.

The South Coast Chinese Cultural Center has been dedicated to promoting cultural diversity and exchange. Its participation in the Lunar New Year Celebration is a testament to its ongoing commitment. Through such events, we share the joy of the Lunar New Year with the community and foster a platform for mutual learning and growth.

南海岸中華文化中心(South Coast Chinese Cultural Center)於2月17日應OCTA之邀,熱烈參與農曆新年慶祝活動。當天,現場舞獅歡騰,爾灣市長Farrah N. Khan女士也蒞臨共襄喜慶。

活動同時邀請了100位現場來賓,免費搭乘火車前往洛杉磯唐人街(LA China Town),觀賞盛大的金龍大遊行。這一舉措凸顯了美國主流社會開始尊重和重視亞裔文化的舉措,更表明他們願意深度參與其中。現場歡聲笑語,熱鬧非凡。
