The city government has announced the launch of a brand new free shuttle service called Irvine CONNECT, aimed at providing convenience for both community residents and visitors. Starting April 1, 2024, Irvine CONNECT will operate between the northern part of Irvine and the Irvine Station, with stops at parks, schools, hospitals, and shopping centers.
The shuttle service will run from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekends, and it will be free for residents and visitors. Shuttles will depart every 20 minutes, equipped with bicycle racks at the front. Service dogs and small pets in carriers will also be allowed on board. This new shuttle service aims to transport residents and visitors to popular destinations, benefiting the community and the environment by increasing accessibility and sustainability options.
