On May 4th, the City of Irvine successfully held the first Ciclo Irvine event, aimed at encouraging citizens to explore our beautiful city through eco-friendly transportation. This event provided an excellent opportunity for residents to integrate into the community, enjoy sports, and spend quality time with friends and family. Through such activities, our community has become more prosperous and vibrant. The dance troupe and martial arts team from the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center also showcased the traditional charm of Chinese culture to the public during this event, offering a fresh experience of the fusion of culture and urban life.
Next, on May 7th, IVC hosted a celebration event for AAPI Heritage Month on campus. The AAPI Heritage Month at IVC is a traditional celebration project. Every May becomes a highlight moment to celebrate the outstanding role played by the AAPI community on campus. On that day, there were not only celebration activities and live performances on campus but also delicious food provided by AAPI community organizations. As a part of the AAPI community, the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center witnessed this moment together with IVC.
Looking back on these two events, the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center has never been absent. Our cultural groups, such as the dance troupe and martial arts team, actively responded, bringing diverse and colorful artistic performances to the public, showcasing the splendor of traditional culture. At the same time, the community service projects of the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center have been accompanying you every step of the way, such as the free Chinese storytelling sessions for children on Sundays, the handicraft workshops for community residents, as well as the psychological support activities and civic guidance services provided for adults. All of these community service projects aim to serve the people and make our community more integrated and beautiful.

回顧這兩個活動，南海岸中華文化中心從未缺席。我們的舞團、武術隊等文化團體積極響應，為市民帶去豐富多彩的文藝表演，展示傳統文化的絢麗多彩之處。與此同時，南海岸中華文化中心的社區服務項目也一直伴隨左右，例如我們為小朋友提供的免費週日中文故事會，為社區居民提供的手作工作坊，以及為大朋友們提供的心理支持活動和加入公民指導服務等。所有這些社區服務項目都旨在服務民眾，讓我們的社區變得更加融合與美好。
