Planted in the well-established South Coast Chinese Cultural Center (SCCCC), our schools ardently embrace its mission. Together, the schools and the center work as a cohesive team, dedicated to immersing not only our students but all of our families in the rich legacy of Chinese language and culture. Your child's holistic development and diverse experiences are our priorities.
Our curriculum is meticulously designed to provide children with hands-on learning experiences in a child-centered setting. We base our approach on theme-based learning, recognizing the power of play for skill-building and concept understanding. Our daily program blends child-led and teacher-directed activities, offers ample playtime, and encourages interactive learning.
Thematic knowledge points are incorporated into daily activities, including but not limited to dramatic play, block building, arts and crafts, puzzles, literature, science, cooking, music, and outdoor play, to foster children’s development in different domains.
We embrace diversity and utilize holiday celebrations for culture exploration. Families are invited to share their heritage. Holidays like Mid-Autumn Festival, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Lunar New Year, Lantern Festival, and many more are integrated into our curriculum. This approach enriches the educational experience and promotes cultural understanding among young children.
