The SCCCC will showcase traditional dances, music, and Chinese martial arts, allowing attendees to experience the unique charm of Chinese culture firsthand. There will also be opportunities for visitors to engage in calligraphy and explore instruments like the Guzheng.
Notably, the festival will include sports games such as badminton, complete with explanations of the rules, providing a fun way for families to bond while enjoying traditional Chinese elements. This interactive experience aims to strengthen family relationships and deepen understanding of Chinese culture.
The Global Village Festival serves not only as a platform for cultural exchange among diverse ethnicities but also as an important celebration of global unity. As Irvine Mayor Farrah N. Khan stated, the festival aims to bring people together through food, art, performances, and sports.
