
To enhance the audience experience, the SCCCC will establish two information booths at the venue to offer Chinese-language assistance, urging guests to arrive early to facilitate smooth entry.
As a gesture of gratitude for the audience’s support, the SCCCC will host a "Legends Souvenir Giveaway Event " in the theater lobby on performance day. Attendees can stop by the information booths at the Street and Main Level entrances and show staff that they have followed or scanned SCCCC's social media QR code to receive exciting souvenirs
The musicians are local talents who excel in both traditional Chinese and Western instruments. The performers portraying the iconic characters are award-winning dancers and representatives of the U.S. national martial arts and gymnastics teams.
Conductor Bin He, responsible for production and direction, shared insights about "Legends," stating that the musical comprises 15 movements, each portraying key moments from the stories of Mulan, the Monkey King, and NeZha.
The performance merges traditional Chinese music with orchestral, rock, and pop influences, showcasing the emotional depth, wisdom, and virtues of these historical figures. This is enhanced by traditional dance, martial arts, and gymnastics, providing audiences with an immersive visual and auditory experience.
YuLan Chung ,CEO of the SCCCC, emphasized her key roles as facilitator and coordinator for the musical "Legends." She described it as a rich cultural experience for children learning Chinese, immersing them in Asian American values.
