The highly anticipated "Legends" Original Musical is set to premiere on October 12 at Segerstrom Hall, and the countdown begins ! The South Coast Chinese Cultural Center reminds ticket holders to bring your ticket and arrive early for the show. For those who appreciate and support Chinese culture but haven’t purchased tickets yet, there’s last chance to secure your seat for this historic performance.
Produced over five years by the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, "Legends" Original Musical features the collaboration of the South Coast Chinese Orchestra, Chinese Dance Company of Southern California , and South Coast Wushu Team. With over 200 participants, this large-scale production uniquely combines music, dance, Chinese martial arts, and artistic gymnastics to tell the stories of three legendary Chinese figures: MuLan, the Monkey King, and NeZha. The performance will take place at 7:00 PM, with the full support of Segerstrom Hall.
Segerstrom Hall is the largest auditorium in Orange County, featuring four levels and seating for 3,000. As the performance falls on a weekend, the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center advises audiences to leave early to avoid traffic and parking delays. Please remember to bring your ticket for seating assignments. To thanks for your support of "Legends" and the promotion of Chinese culture, the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center will host a "Follow SCCCC for Special Gifts" event on the day of the performance. Attendees who show that you have followed the center's social media platforms at the designated service booth will be able to select a special gift, such as a guzheng, pipa, zhongruan, or keychain with "Legends" designs. Supplies are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
