About LEGENDS
LEGENDS is a live cultural performance that brings timeless stories to life through music, movement, and cinematic storytelling.
Produced by SCCCA, the show features an original score by Bin He and direction by Jiangli Yu. What began as a single-story production has grown each year, expanding in scale and artistry while celebrating Chinese culture through the performing arts.

Meet the Visionary
Bin He
Bin He, the composer and creator of LEGENDS, introduces Chinese music in new and expressive ways. A graduate of the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing, Conductor He specializes in the bamboo flute and musical composition.
His mastery allows him to draw emotion from instruments into storytelling. He layers sounds from both Eastern and Western instruments to create textured colors, using erhu and bamboo flute to advance the stories.
Conductor He is influenced by traditional Chinese, Chinese opera, rock ’n roll and classical music to create a unique and modern sound.
