The Asian American Youth Leaders (AAYL) Program is hosting a 2-Day Life Skills/Mentorship Intensive, an empowering event designed to equip high school students with critical personal and professional skills. This hands-on experience provides students with the tools and knowledge to navigate job and internship opportunities, delve into educational resources, and build foundational life skills that support their growth in both academic and career settings.

Throughout the program, participants will engage in a series of workshops tailored to support their journey through high school and beyond. The event includes practical guidance on the college application process and open resources for exploring academic majors. Students will also develop effective time management and goal-setting strategies that empower them to succeed in a variety of contexts.

Key workshops focus on building essential skills for success in real-world settings. Public speaking sessions provide students with tips and techniques to communicate confidently, enhancing their ability to express ideas clearly and persuasively. Additionally, leadership development modules offer insights into fostering teamwork, motivating peers, and taking initiative, with an emphasis on how to apply these skills in both school and work environments. By working with experienced mentors and leaders, students gain first-hand insights and advice that prepare them for future academic and professional pursuits.

The Life Skills/Mentorship Intensive is an excellent program for students to build connections with peers, engage with inspiring mentors, and cultivate a sense of purpose and direction. Through this enriching event, AAYL empowers youth to face challenges and embrace opportunities as they prepare for their journey toward success.
