The 2025 Orange County Lantern Festival, scheduled for February 22, is calling for art submissions to be featured in the event’s artistic showcase.
This year’s theme, "Reunions and Togetherness," celebrates family reunions and community unity. Selected works will be displayed at the concert hall, and the top three artists will receive a $200 cash prize along with tickets to a Pacific Symphony concert.
Organized by the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center and the Pacific Symphony, the Lantern Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2025.
In addition to performances of symphonic music, traditional Chinese music, dance, and Chinese martial arts, the event will feature cultural activities such as lantern painting and mask-making, attracting thousands of enthusiastic participants.
The competition is open to all students and non-professional artists of all ages residing in Southern California.
It includes categories such as painting, photography, drawing, and digital art. This contest provides a platform to foster cultural exchange and artistic collaboration, promoting the blending of Eastern and Western cultures in Orange County.
The theme, "Reunions and Togetherness," invites participants to submit artwork that reflects the importance of family reunions and unity. The deadline for submissions is January 7, 2025 (Tuesday) at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

2025年橙縣元宵節慶活動即將在2月22日隆重登場，這次主辦單位將以「團圓與共融」- “Reunions and Togetherness.”為主題，舉辦藝術作品投稿比賽，獲選作品都將在活動當天於音樂廳展出，其中前三名的藝術家除將獲頒200美元獎金，並可獲得觀賞太平洋交響樂團音樂會門票。
由南海岸中華文化中心和太平洋交響樂團共同主辦的橙縣元宵節慶祝活動，2025年將邁入第十周年。每年活動當天除有交響樂、國樂、舞蹈、中華武術等多元文化展演項目，還有彩繪燈籠、面具等各項文化體驗活動，吸引成千上萬民眾熱烈參與。
除了文化展演和體驗活動，每年還會選定一個主題，舉辦包括繪畫、攝影作品、繪圖與數位藝術等四類藝術作品投稿比賽，歡迎居住在南加州各年齡層學生和非職業藝術家參加，讓這場兼具東西文化展演、體驗與藝術作品競賽的文化饗宴，為橙縣族群融和搭起一座文化與藝術交流的橋樑。
