The annual "Illuminate Irvine" event will take place on December 7 at the Palm Court Arts Complex in OC Great Park.
Attendees will witness thousands of lights instantly lighting up the park and enjoy a variety of entertainment, including live music, dance performances, a miniature train ride, family crafts, carnival games, and interactive activities.
Families of all backgrounds are invited to share in the holiday spirit.
Hosted by the City of Irvine, the event will kick off with the Mayor leading the community in lighting the annual Christmas tree.
As the park is illuminated by thousands of lights, the stage will feature performances from local artists, bringing a festive atmosphere to all attendees.
In addition to performances, the event will offer family-friendly activities, such as craft stations and carnival games, providing creative experiences for everyone.
The Winter Wonderland Train Ride invites families to enjoy a magical ride through the park, surrounded by holiday lights and decorations.
For photo enthusiasts, the Holidayz Pop-Up Exhibit offers great spots for selfies and family photos. A holiday market will feature unique gifts, decorations, and crafts from local vendors, while food trucks serve a variety of seasonal treats.
This year, the event introduces a new attraction: Shiny Town, a themed village inspired by Santa’s elves. Children can stroll through a colorful candy cane lane and participate in a donation drive, placing small toys or gifts in the Elf House to share the holiday joy.
In addition, the event will host a Toy Drive. Attendees are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped gifts suitable for children under 12 years old to support the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee's Holiday Toy Drive.
This effort not only spreads holiday cheer to children but also helps local families in need, sharing love and care within the community.

一年一度的「點亮爾灣」活動12月7日將在OC Great Park的Palm Court Arts Complex舉行，當天民眾除將可親眼目睹數千盞燈光瞬間點亮大公園盛況，現場更將有音樂、舞蹈表演、小火車、家庭手工藝品創作等各種遊樂設施、攤位與互動遊戲，歡迎各族裔全家前往共享歡樂的節日氛圍。
由爾灣市政府舉辦的「點亮爾灣」活動，將由市長帶領社區居民共同點亮年度聖誕節慶樹揭開序幕，在大公園被數千盞燈光點亮，形成一片璀璨燈海同時，舞台上也將有各類音樂、舞蹈和本地藝人的精彩演出，為現場觀眾帶來豐富的視聽盛宴。
除歌舞表演，當天現場還規劃多項適合全家人參與的活動，其中家庭手工藝品和嘉年華遊戲將為親子提供創意十足的體驗，讓每位家庭成員都能享受手工製作和遊戲的樂趣。而冬季仙境列車之旅則是讓親子共同乘坐小火車，欣賞沿途的節日燈光和裝飾，體驗獨特的冬季魅力。
對喜愛拍照家庭來說，Holidayz快閃展覽，提供絕佳的自拍和全家福拍照地點，現場還有假日市集，邀請多家精選手工藝品商家提供節日禮品、裝飾品以及其他特色商品，為民眾帶來獨特的購物體驗。現場也將有餐車提供各種節日美食，讓觀眾在享受活動同時，也能品嚐到各式各樣的美味佳餚。
今年活動還加入一個全新的項目——閃亮小鎮。這是一個以聖誕老人的精靈為主題所精心佈置的小鎮，孩子們可以在這個區域走過五光十色的拐杖糖巷，並參與捐贈活動，將小玩具或節日禮品放進精靈屋中，和其他家庭共同分享節日的快樂。
在大家歡度節慶的同時，主辦單位也舉行玩具捐贈活動，鼓勵參加活動民眾捐贈適合12歲以下兒童，全新未拆封的禮物，希望讓孩子們享受節日歡樂同時，也能幫助社區中需要幫助的家庭，傳遞愛與關懷。
