The 2025 Orange County Lantern Festival will be held on February 22nd, 2025. This free cultural feast will feature a diverse array of performances, including symphonic music, Chinese traditional music, dance, martial arts, and art exhibitions.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to create their own lanterns and masks, allowing them to paint their favorite designs. Families are warmly invited to join in the celebration of the Lantern Festival.
To celebrate the Lantern Festival, the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, in collaboration with the Pacific Symphony, will host the 10th annual Lantern Festival event. We need your support to keep this event free and accessible to the public.
Festival-goers will have the option to purchase a Festival Pass($50 per person), which guarantees admission to the event and priority seating for the first performance segment, which is typically the busiest.

This Lantern Festival event, focused on promoting Chinese multiculturalism, celebrating Asian heritage, and respecting diverse cultures, attracts thousands of visitors each year.
The event will feature a dragon and lion dance performance, the performing groups from Pacific Symphony, the South Coast Chinese Orchestra, the Chinese Dance Company of Southern California, and the South Coast Wushu Team, among other performances.
Additionally, there will be an exhibition showcasing works from non-professional artists of all ages from Southern California, including paintings, photography, drawings, and digital art. Attendees will be treated to a full-spectrum experience of music and art.
In addition to these cultural and artistic performances, the event will include a cultural experience area with activities such as guessing riddles, hand-painting lanterns and masks, making red envelopes, calligraphy with brush pens, and food stalls.
These activities offer a fun, hands-on experience, making it the perfect event for families to enjoy together and celebrate the Lantern Festival.
