This immersive show earned five minutes of applause and impressed Segerstrom Hall, which invited “LEGENDS” back for a special AAPI Heritage Month and Mother’s Day performance.
According to composer and conductor Bin He, over 300 performers joined “LEGENDS” 2.0. With erhu and violin duets, Peking opera fused with pop, and classical dance mixed with street styles, the show delivered a powerful blend of tradition and modernity, offering a rich, cross-cultural experience.
