The South Coast Chinese Cultural Center aims to provide people of all ages in the community who are interested in traditional Chinese instruments with an excellent learning environment and quality instruction. On September 2, we will hold a free trial class to allow more community members to appreciate and learn about Chinese traditional instruments, and to further promote and pass down these traditions overseas.
This trial class will be hosted by a senior music teacher with rich professional qualities and performance experience:
Mr. He Bin|Dizi performer, conductor, and composer
Formerly composed Chinese music segments for the Shanghai and Los Angeles Disney bands, contributed to numerous internationally renowned video game and film scores blending Chinese and Western music, and is the original creator of the musical Legends.
Ms. Yu Jiangli|Guzheng performer, musical director, and stage arts producer
With extensive stage production experience, she served as the director for the original musical Legends.
