Seven Lights   One Brilliance

To present Chinese culture through more diverse media, the SCCCC  launched Amazing HuaYi, a publication that blends words, images, and audio as a cultural bridge connecting Chinese Americans and the broader community.

In its inaugural issue, the magazine features seven outstanding Chinese Americans from Southern California, including :

Matthew Lin      Medical Leadership & Philanthropy

Quietly Nurturing   Warmly Illuminating

SCCC CEO Yulan Chung said : “ The power of culture is like a gentle rain—it nourishes lives quietly and deeply within our communities.”

“The most moving form of culture does not live only in words or on stage, but in every life that continues to create, to give, and to shine.”

Chung emphasized that “Amazing HuaYi is more than documentation—it’s culture in action. It begins with people, proving that culture isn’t a distant idea, but a living light we can see and feel.”

Passing the Torch   A Legacy in Light

The launch of Amazing HuaYi marks a new chapter in cultural storytelling.

The SCCCC will continue to share the inspiring life stories of Chinese Americans—

keeping this light alive, shining across generations.
