On the morning of December 13, the FlowBall USA Invitational 2025 took place smoothly at the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center.

As the first FlowBall invitational held in the United States, the event provided a platform to promote the sport, communication and showcase skills.

Participants of various ages and backgrounds, along with parents and community members, enthusiastically joined to witness the growth of Flow Ball in the local community.

The event kicked off with opening remarks from national Flow Ball champion Rujia Wang, National Social Sports Instructor Furong Zhang, and South Coast Chinese Cultural Center Board Member Wendy Chen, expressing their support and encouragement for the promotion of FlowBall. 

A group photo followed, capturing a memorable moment for all participants and guests.

After the opening ceremony, the competition officially began.

The South Coast Wushu Team performed a spectacular martial arts demonstration, Furong Zhang presented the FlowBall routine “Flying Dragon Set 2”, and Rujia Wang showcased her individual routine “Zi Jin”, providing the audience with an impressive display of skill and artistry.

Matches, including net challenge competitions, were conducted in order, with judges ensuring fair play and smooth organization.

Interactive activities, including the flipping challenge and ball-throw challenge, allowed participants to earn stickers and redeem prizes, adding a fun and engaging element to the day.

 The awards ceremony recognized individual and team winners, culminating in a collective Flow Ball performance “Where Dreams Set Sail”, bringing the event to an exciting conclusion.

The successful inaugural FlowBall USA Invitational marks an important milestone for the sport’s growth in the local community and highlights its appeal to people of all ages.

Registration is now open for the 2025–26 second-semester Flow Ball classes.
