On December 20, 2025, D@S Dance Academy successfully presented its Winter Recital at the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center (SCCCA).
The showcase featured 36 performances and brought together over 100 student performers from children, youth, and adult programs.
The event attracted more than one hundred parents and audience members, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with enthusiastic applause throughout the evening.
Diverse Performances, Resonant Applause
The program showcased a wide range of styles, including Chinese folk and ethnic dance, classical Chinese dance, and foundational training pieces, offering rich variety and depth.
Young dancers charmed the audience with their innocence, focus, and growing confidence; teenage performers demonstrated maturity, technical skill, and strong stage presence; while adult dancers interpreted movement with poise and elegance.
Several performances received prolonged applause and cheers, with the audience’s response reaching multiple emotional high points. The shared connection between performers and viewers created a warm and memorable experience.
Rooted in the Community, Growing Cultural Confidence
D@S Dance Academy has long been committed to Chinese dance education and cultural preservation, and has partnered with SCCCA for nearly a decade to build a professional platform rich in cultural depth.
Dance, as D@S believes, is one of the most elegant languages of culture—through dance, children discover their cultural roots, youth develop confidence and resilience, and adults rediscover balance, pride, and well-being.
Through movement, cultural heritage continues to take root and flourish within overseas communities.
