Print & Light · Voice & Legacy
Through Chinese language education, music, dance, martial arts, and major cultural productions, the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center has long shared the beauty of Chinese culture.
Launched in November 2025, Amazing HuaYi is a quarterly publication profiling outstanding Chinese Americans across generations and fields in Southern California, capturing their roots, resilience, contributions, and innovation.
With Amazing HuaYi, that mission now extends from classrooms and stages to print, digital, and audio platforms—building a bridge between the Chinese American community and the broader public.

Different in age and path, they share the values of diligence, resilience, compassion, integrity, responsibility, and service.
Ancient Myth · New Flight
As SCCCA marks its 50th anniversary, the SCCC presents Chang’e Flies to the Moon as a milestone tribute.
This issue features conductor Bin He on how original music, dance, martial arts, aerial performance, and multimedia reimagine the ancient myth.
More than a preview, the feature connects education, performance, and publishing—showing how Chinese culture can be renewed and shared with broader audiences.

Three Lights · One Legacy
South Coast Chinese Cultural Center CEO Yulan Chung said the 50th anniversary is both a legacy and a new beginning.
Culture, she said, is a living force to be renewed, shared, and recreated across generations.
She noted the Center’s three guiding lights—Chinese education, cultural performance, and Amazing HuaYi—work together to deepen roots, showcase cultural beauty, and preserve Chinese American life stories for future generations.
Where education, art, publishing, and audio meet, the Center is building more than cultural programs; it is creating a lasting system for cultural inheritance.
Amazing HuaYi Vol. 3 continues its multimedia format across print, digital, and audio.
